New entry requirements for Georgia

New rules for entry into Georgia have been in effect since January 1, 2026. Travelers must now present proof of valid travel medical insurance that covers their entire stay.
The insurance must meet the following criteria:
Coverage amount: at least 30,000 GEL (approx. 10,000 EUR)
Language requirement: Confirmation in English or Georgian.
Validity: for the entire travel period
We recommend that you print your insurance certificate before departure or have it easily accessible digitally to avoid delays upon arrival.
