What distinguishes Tripplanner from a classic online travel agency or your local travel agency
A travel agency usually puts together ready-made trips for its customers from a catalog and/or from certain tour operators. In addition, a travel agency participates in the sales of each trip and receives a brokerage commission. Due to this so-called margin, which is around 10 percent, the prices in the travel agency are usually higher than the prices of the offers on the Internet.
On the other hand, Tripplanner arranges trips individually, with the offer of the Internet and tailored to the needs of each individual customer.
Tripplanner is not involved in the turnover or profit of a trip, which is why we also suggest budget airlines or low-cost airlines on request. Of course, we take into account the special regulations of each individual airline or booking platform and also advise you on this. If classic tour operators are cheaper than online booking platforms, these are of course also recommended.
In addition, the classic travel agency in your area requires a service fee per person or a flight ticket service fee.
This can be the case, for example, with a € 2000 package tour with a total service fee of € 50

In addition, an online travel agency, like probably your local travel agency, often only offers limited airlines for sale. Airlines such as Ryanair / Laudamotion / WizzAir etc. are often not offered. The same applies to offers from hotels and other accommodation. Booking.com / Trivago / Agoda / AirBnB etc. are rarely or not at all mediated by Austrian travel agencies, although these online booking platforms are often a lot cheaper than accommodation offers via classic tour operators with a commission for the travel agency.
