Austrian Airlines and ÖBB are expanding their popular AirRail service. From December 15, Innsbruck will be included in the program alongside Linz, Graz and Salzburg.
As Austrian Airlines announced in a press release, the AirRail service, which has been in existence for over ten years under the motto "From train to flight", is being expanded to include the destination Innsbruck. With up to 13 daily connections, Vienna Airport can be reached directly from Innsbruck with the Railjet. Travelers from Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz can reach all 125 destinations in the Austrian Airlines route network with just one ticket for train and flight. A particular advantage is that passengers can be rebooked onto the next flight free of charge in the event of delays.
The AirRail offer offers passengers numerous advantages: Check-in is convenient via the Austrian Airlines website. In addition, all "AIRail" passengers receive a free seat reservation, a snack voucher and the opportunity to collect Miles & More miles and points. Travelers in Austrian Business Class as well as HON Circle members and Senators also enjoy free access to the ÖBB lounges at the main train stations in Linz, Salzburg, Innsbruck and Graz.
