Edelweiss Air, the leading Swiss leisure airline, is expanding its route network next summer 2025 to include two exciting destinations in North America. From Zurich, travelers will be able to fly directly to Seattle in the US state of Washington and to Halifax in the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. These new connections offer a convenient and direct connection to two other attractive destinations in North America.
Seattle will be served twice a week between June and September 2025. The nonstop flights from Zurich will always depart on Mondays and Saturdays. In addition, Halifax will be added to the route network every Thursday and Sunday between July and October 2025. The new direct flights to Seattle and Halifax can be easily reached from all German-speaking countries through code sharing with Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS), the sister company of Edelweiss Air within the Lufthansa Group. Travelers can easily get to Zurich via central hubs such as Frankfurt, Munich or Vienna and change there to the new Edelweiss flights.
In addition, passengers on codeshare flights with SWISS and the new Edelweiss connections can collect miles and points in the Lufthansa Group's Miles & More program. This offers frequent flyers and members of the program an additional incentive to use the new routes to Seattle and Halifax. Source: Edelweiss press release
